Design Crush: Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti

Where do I even begin listing all the reasons I am obsessed with Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti? My incredibly stylish and talented friend Conni clued me into Jeanbart-Lorenzotti's Vivre empire a few months ago and since then I have been in awe of the Switzerland-raised entrepreneur and global jet-setter.

Jeanbart-Lorenzotti is the founder and CEO of  Vivre, an online luxury goods retailer that was founded in 1996 with a thin mailer that only featured three brands.  Vivre now offers 140 luxury brands to customers worldwide and generates sales of approximately $50 million.  It should come as no surprise then that Crain's New York named her one of their 40 under 40 in 2006

"Sometimes, the only way things can happen is to put yourself in a situation that really requires you to shine."

One of my favorite things about this dynamic woman is that she encourages her customers to find their signature style instead of foisting the latest trends upon them.  I am a strong believer in personal style -- wear what you love and what expresses who you are as a person and the same goes for your home.  The iconic women I often refer to in my posts posess unique and instantly recognizable style -- they never would have become icons without their strong signature styles.  Names like Coco Chanel, Nan Kempner, Babe Paley, Diana Vreeland, Talitha Getty, and Wallis Simpson all come to mind when I think of women with a very identifiable personal style.
